. They only accept payment by Western Union and I'm a bit iffy about that. The company is

Hmm sounds a bit dodgy to me! I used to buy from a few China wholesalers but was burnt so many times that I stopped in the end and just bought of places like Amazon instead.
Don't you have to pay a massive $25 admin fee to use western union as well? Try and see if you can use Paypal or something as although Paypal will take a fee i think you have a certain amount of comeback against fraud - check that out though!
