  RUNNING WHEN YOU HAVE A PERIOD

hi, does running or jogging makes our period worse, is it that safe o run while we have our monthly period?

dont you worry dear, it doesn't. Actually I run even if i have my period and I don't feel anything, in fact it prevents me from having cramps. you can do the normal things you usually do as long as you're not feeling bad.

ooh is that so!?... then I guess I shouldn't be worrying too much, my mum has been telling me not to run when I have my menstruation!... well.. she kinda scares me tellin me that running will make me feel sick and all that stuff..
then the never ending debate about this issue!

I can relate to you katiewhi, my mom used to tell me not to take a bath or my period can get worse or I might get sick.. was really scared.. haha. but I found out that it really doesn't hurt to exercise and run during these times.

Lol.. moms can really be so paranoid at times you know! well not only at time but always! as in always should I say. haha.

well. there are women who feel terrible during these days. itsn't ok to run or do some others excersies if you can't get out of bed...
but you should try at least once. even if you feel some hurt, may be you will get better 'cause of sport.
i you don't feel any difference [looking atr days in menstrual period and other days] you can go in for sport as usually.
 
this is an issue you have to listen to your body not to your mom, friend or somebody else ;)

i agree.. our bodies talk to us in a way.. and we respond or react depending on our bodies need. personally, im used to doing the different sports that i love even with my period. i feel its the same way as exercise promotes blood circulation..

even pregnant women can run too...
