Yesterday i went running for an hour, it wasn't that cold. When i went back home i was coughing so hard, what could possibly be the reason? Do i have some allergy or something? this is the first time i experienced this.

you said this is the first time it happened?well I'm guessing it's an allergy, what was the weather like? if it's a bit cold well you probably had some mild allergy i guess. I'm just not sure celine

I experienced that already, and I like to add an information about what anthony33 just said (and I agree with what you said) that its the climate and the humidity or the moist that is present on your location, thats the cause of the allergic reaction if I may say... oh, before I forget. Have you warmed up before you jog???

So you said that it's the first time you experienced this right? Hhmmm... Did you do anything different than the usual routine you are doing? If not, maybe that's the reason why you are coughing hard after the one hour running. But if it's the usual routine that you do the 2 persons above might be right, maybe you can also consult a doctor for that matter, just to be sure.

It could be anything other than jogging. But are you sure that you did not overdo yourself? Maybe you have change the number of mile you run and you got too exhausted because of how far you got. I sometimes experienced that when i run too long and too far. I cough and experience sharp pain on the sides.

If you are already aware that you have an allergy for pollens (allergic Rhinitis) you should choose a place to jog where there are lesser trees, bushes or flowers. they are the most common source of this pollen allergens that triggers coughing, sneezing and worst is asphyxia. You should be very careful because a simple coughing may lead to something bigger especially if you have allergies.
