It's weird, there was one time when I was jogging and my feet got so numb. I got pretty scared, what I did was to stop and rest for awhile. Is this something serious? it's been bothering me. please help

Did you have any injuries prior to this? Make sure you stretch or warm up before running, also I'm thinking you might have your laces tied too tight, well it's just an assumption. :)

how long have you been running? you must bring some safety kit whenever you go outdoors running. and try to warm up before anything.

This kind of numbness can be if it is too cold, and you have just started running outside;or it can be if you have tied your shoes too tight. But there is nothing to worry about.
Wash your feet in warm water before going to bed.You can add some table salt to it.Morning if it is not very cold, you can take bath in cold water.
Also start doing Shoulder stand(sarvang asana). It will take care of blood circulation in your feet.

Stretching before running is very important. Without doing this, you might experience some discomfort on your feet as you run. Or your feet is not comfortable of the shoes that you are wearing. Just observe it, if you think its something serious, you can make an appointment to your doctor. It might make it worse if you take it for granted.

When you exercise the muscles need more oxygen supply. The discomfort
you are experiencing, when relieved by rest, is most commonly caused by a
reduction in available blood supply to the area. This is usually caused
by the shoes simply being too tight around the ankle. Address this by
loosening them a little, and if the symptoms persist consult your doctor
as the health of the arteries may need to be investigated.

In the old days it was called "hardening of the arteries" or now Cardiovascular disease. Don't be afraid, doctors recommend that if someone come across to this problem then he/she must stop jogging and starting walking for sometime. Walking helps in building new blood vessels around the older clogged ones. Also use running shoes to relieve muscle stress.

It is not a disease at all.For God sake,do not cause panic.Try Sarvanga asana(shoulder atand) after jogging.Think positive. That will help, not the shoes advertised.
