Hello everyone,
I am new to jogging and to this site. I have always been active (aerobics/ yoga / pilates/ cross training.) I just joined a gym last Nov. 08 and decided to take up jogging on the treadmill to lose 15 lbs. In the beginning, I had some unsettling irritation of the Siatica nerve (which was a first in my life), thankfully that went away w/ a course of yoga before running, then my hipflexor on my right began acting up -- fortunately that worked it way out. NOW, there is a "line" of pain running down the front of my left calf (outer side of shin bone) and a line on same leg running vertically on my quad. These pains come and go but can not be defined by me as a muscle, tendon or general pain, although it's like a think line of pain.
Is this common for joggers? Especially new ones? It's been going on for several weeks and i don't know if i should wait it out or go to a doctor.
thanks for all your help and imput!!

It is common but be sure that before jogging make sure that you do stretching first to prevent certain pains in our body.
