excuse me for posting this question but are you guys having black toenails from running?
how do you prevent it? it's really not nice to look at. why are we having black toenails anyway? i hate it! ( really ).. boohoo.

no, but there are times when I'm having blisters around my toenail. it sucks! I just try to ignore it, and let my feet rest so it wouldn't get irritated.

your socks must fit well, (not too tight ok?), also it's important that there's enough space on the toe box, but again not too wide as your toes might have the tendency to hit or bang at the edge of the toebox..

EW! black toenails.. uhh.. excuse my reaction please.. but it's gross!!! and I hated it so much, I remember when I had it, I was so frantic. It was probably because of my shoes. Good thing I got rid of that running shoes. Thank goodness! haha

it's so important to have proper running shoes, ones that have some allowance for your toes. shoes that are too snug will definitely lead to black toenails and be very painful in the long run.

just wear comfortable shoes. not too tight but the type of fit where your shoe adjusts properly to the movement of your feet when it makes contact with the ground. Thats why i miss those 80's saucony and puma running shoes! damn. Those were very good.
