I'm quite confused. I didn't have the idea that there is some kind of difference between jogging and running. Both are refer to running. Can you tell me what the difference between the two sports?

There's no special difference between the two. Running is faster and robust while jogging is more relaxed and paced.

Fortunately, running takes less preparation and fewer materials than any sport. All you really need is a pair of running shoes. Stretching is also important before or after running so that your heart rate will already quickened.

Running is running fast, for competion, sometimes even for your life.Jogging is running at a leisurely, slow pace.Jogging is for enjoyment. It is more rhythemic. Not that you cannot run fast in it,but you do it in rhythem,as per your own choice.Done properly, jogging is a wonderful meditation.

Technically, if it takes you less than 9 minutes to complete 1 mile, you are running. If it takes you more than 9 minutes to complete 1 mile, you are jogging. Jogging's main intention is to increase fitness with less stress on the body. It is performed at a more comfortable and relaxed pace. Running, on the other hand, is done at a faster pace.Runners often maintain that same fast pace throughout a running event. In either of the cases, they use some running shoes to cope up with the muscle pressure.

Jogging is many a time meditation.Running too can be,if there is no competition, and  it results in your being, not doing as such.Either can be done even without shoes.People have won competitions even without shoes. In fact, you are closer to nature, when you run/jog without shoes. You touch the Mother Earth.Going strictly from spiritual angle, you do not need running shoes. So do not go by the propaganda being done by some people here, taking shelter of this site.
