im a newbie runner. how can i do run/walk technique because i don't have the endurance to run for extended periods of time due to my weight.

To be able to surpass that you should walk/run everyday. Then the following day, add the pace that you are running.

Weight reduction is absolutely necessary.Not only you carry extra weight when running,it keeps feeding you  negatvity about yourself.Either you do not think negative of it,or you reduce it.
Spend time out.If you cannot run,keep walking,in between keep try running.
Control your diet.
