A 34 year old mother of two becomes the face of the marathon in Virginia.
Susannah Kvasnicka was the top women's finisher in the Steamtown Marathon in Scranton Pennsylvania last October 8 with a finishing time of two hours and 45.06 minutes which earned her a "B" qualifying time for the 2008 Olympics. She was also last year's Marine Corps Marathon Women’s champion.
She trains by running 120 miles a week and never below 15 miles a day. Kvaniscka will be one of the few to compete in the Olympics Trials in Boston, Massachusetts on April of 2008.
