Kandiero Represents Singapore Marathon

Oliver Kandiero left Harare to attend and represent Zimbabwe in the second leg of the Standard Chartered Bank World Relay Marathon in Singapore.
Veteran long distance runner Kandiero, finished second overall in last year's Marathon. The veteran athlete said his preparation for Sunday's race went on well, but chose to be cautious ahead of the grueling event.
Kandiero will be taking the baton from Abel Chimukoko who opened the Zimbabwean team's campaign last month in Nairobi, Kenya. After Sunday's race he will hand over the baton to Michael Ngaaseke whi will run in the third leg in Mumbai on January. The Singapore Marathon is referred to as the Greatest Race on Earth will be held on Sunday.
