Kenyan Has Won Mumbai Marathon Again

For the third time in succession, a Kenyan has won the men's race in the fourth Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon which was held last Sunday. John Kelai beat Ethiopian Gashaw Asfaw Melese finishing first in two hours, 12 minutes and 28 seconds.
Kelai was also part of the Greatest Race on Earth and his performance will be included in the GROE tally. He won $31, 500 for winning the marathon and plans to celebrate the victory with her wife and kids in Kenya.
Winning the women's race was Chinese Yang Zhiao Shu to finish in two hours, 36 minutes and 17 seconds. The marathon started from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 7.40 in the morning.
