Local host and Wife Join Missoula Marathon |

Host Monte Turner and wife Lois, will be joining 800 other runners at the Missoula Marathon on July 15.
Husband and wife had been training since January for the 26.2-mile marathon. The couple even had Run Wild Missoula president Jennifer Boyer and Olympic runner Courtney Babcock as trainers at one time.

1,000 OC Runners Gets Free Avia Shoes |

The first 1,000 runners to register online by midnight of June 30, 2007 for the 2008 Avia Orange Country Marathon gets a 90-dollar value running shoes for free. Registration will be done online and costs $85. Those included in the first 1,000 will get free Avia Endurance running shoes.

Two thousand women joined the Race for Life at Heythrop Park yesterday. The 5 kilometer race was organized by Rosannah Dawood in order to raise 154 thousand pounds for the Cancer Research UK.
