Local host and Wife Join Missoula Marathon
THURSDAY, 28 JUNE 2007
Host Monte Turner and wife Lois, will be joining 800 other runners at the Missoula Marathon on July 15.
Husband and wife had been training since January for the 26.2-mile marathon. The couple even had Run Wild Missoula president Jennifer Boyer and Olympic runner Courtney Babcock as trainers at one time.
The marathon will start at the Frenchtown and end in downtown Missoula. The event also includes a half marathon and a Kid's marathon.
The will half marathon will start at the Blue Mountain Road and join the other marathoners at downtown Missoula for the finish line. Meanwhile the Kid's marathon is a 1.2-mile race that will finish downtown as well.
