Four American athletes, Reese Hoffa, Sanya Richards, Bernard Lagat and Jeremy Wariner have been listed as candidates for the 2007 IAAF World Athletes of the Year Awards.
Fans have a chance to support their athletes by logging on to the IAAF website, www.iaaf.org. Three finalists for the men's and women's categories are to be selected.
IAAF Family Vote comprises 70% of the whole vote and General Public Vote, 30%. After merging all the votes, the three male and three female athletes with the most points will be declared as finalists. Voting closes on Friday, October 31 at midnight CET.
