Shane Ohly Sets New Ramsay's Round Record |

Climber, fell runner and adventure racer Shane Ohly finished the Ramsay's Round in 29:59:34, breaking the 33:48:00 record set by Gary Tompsett.
Ohly’s attempt was mostly 'on-sight' as his earlier efforts were hindered by poor weather. He traveled clockwise and took on Ben Nevis and the Aonachs first.

Runner Joins Marathon to Raise Funds |

David Lucas, a runner from Australia, intends to participate in the Marathon des Sables on April 1, 2009 to raise funds for his chosen charity, the Earl Mountbatten Hospice.
