Adidas has sponsored the World’s Best 10K (WB10K) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Known as the world’s leading sports brand, Adidas has agreed to be the event’s official footwear and apparel sponsor until 2011.
WB10K is one of the most important sporting events in Puerto Rico and the world. The International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) has acknowledged it recently as the only 10-kilometer road race to receive a Gold Label in 2008.
Adidas sponsored the event to strengthen the commitment to the development of sports industry in Puerto Rico. For years, Adidas has been sponsoring many major races as well as professional runners from all over the world. Boston Marathon and Berlin Marathon are some of the events sponsored by Adidas.
